Animal X-rays at the Indianapolis Zoo

Ever taken a tumble and had to go in for an x-ray? Well, our animals here at the Indianapolis Zoo sometimes have to have x-rays or radiographs too, but not just for injuries.There are all kinds of ways x-rays help us keep our animals healthy. But taking an x-ray of a penguin or a bear is a little more complicated than getting an x-ray of your arm. Our Zoo veterinary staff will show you how it's done.
